Vijeta Pharma ("we", "us") operates the Vijeta Pharma website and Android app (the "Service") for ordering medicines from our shop. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you place an order we ask for your name, mobile number and delivery address so that we can confirm, prepare and deliver your order. If you choose to upload a photo of a prescription or medicine list, that image and the text we read from it are stored with your order so our pharmacist can verify the medicines. Your cart is saved on your own device only.

How we use it

Your details are used only to process and deliver your order, to contact you about it, and to issue an invoice. We do not sell or share your information with anyone except the services needed to run this Service (described below) and as required by law.

Services we rely on

Orders and the medicine catalogue are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, servers in Mumbai, India). Prescription images you upload are processed by Google Cloud Vision to read the text; the image is not retained by Google after processing. The website is hosted on Netlify.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera or photo access only when you tap "Upload prescription". Photos are used solely for that order.

Retention and deletion

Order records (including any prescription image) are kept for as long as required for accounting and pharmacy regulations. You can ask us to delete your personal information by contacting the shop; we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

Children

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
